Fire Awareness and Fire Marshall training

This half day course provides guidance and training to those in your company who have been appointed as Fire Marshall/Fire Warden for your business premises. The course provides training of the requirements of this vital role, for any commercial premises. We will work with you to ensure the course is bespoke to fit your existing evacuation procedures and give advice on site specific hazards and requirements. This is also ideal where employees need a raised awareness of fire safety to support their job responsibilities e.g. Warehouse Manager. The course gives a clear picture of employer and employee obligations to current Fire Safety legislation.

Rooftop Awareness

This half day course fulfils the training requirement for those working on their own or client's flat roofs. The contents include a section on the Working at Height regulations, risk assessment, hazard identification and common practice controls to ensure workers are safe and employers have met their legal obligation of providing suitable training for their employers. This course is often required by landlords before you can gain access to their roof space and is a commonly requested requirement of industry accreditations e.g. Safe Contractor, CHAS

Health and Safety Awareness-general

This half day course provides the delegate with an overview of the requirements of Health and Safety Law applying to an employer and its employees. This course is recommended as general awareness training for all employees. The contents include (but are not limited to): accident reporting, risk, hazards, lone working, emergency arrangements, office safety, site safety, display screen equipment, manual handling, and COSHH. Ideally we will work with you to ensure this course is always adapted to your bespoke needs dependent on the industry and the work activities your company conducts.

Construction, Design and Management (CDM Awareness)

This half day course is ideal for project managers and their teams to ensure understanding of the application of the CDM Regulations 2015. The course will explain the requirements of the regulations, how they apply to your company and explain the actions you must take and the documentation you must have in place. A key part of CDM is understanding your role and the role of other companies within the project. The course will explain the duties of the CDM roles of "Client", "Principal Designer", "Principal Contractor" and "Contractor" and how these roles are discharged. The course will clearly explain these duties through the 3 stages of a project: Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post Construction Phases.
